  • What is the general duration and cost of a home cleaning?
    Duration: Our residential cleaning time frame is dependent on multiple variables addressed during our Home Cleaning Survey (I.E. square footage, current condition of the home, quantity of bedrooms and bathrooms, type of requested cleaning, and any additional add-ons) On average standard cleaning of a home ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 1,500 sq ft could take 3 to 4 hours to clean. Cost: As a small business, the pricing of our residential cleaning services is determined based on the information gathered when you complete our Home Cleaning Survey. This includes any additional information you provide or we request, and is calculated in good faith, site-unseen. Some of the main price drivers include the home's size, the current condition of the house, the requested cleaning service, and any additional add-ons. Our cleaning estimates are based upon reasonable and average conditions of the home unless otherwise specified by the client when filling out the Home Cleaning Survey. While we strive to adhere to our estimate to the best of our ability, we reserve the right to propose a change in the final cost of your cleaning if the scope of service requires additional time or equipment to complete.
  • How many cleaners do you send?
    We typically send 1 to 2 cleaners to a location at a time, but this is dependent on a few variables (I.E. size of the home, day/time of cleaning, scheduling availability)
  • Do you rotate your cleaning crew on recurring cleanings?
    For recurring cleanings, we typically send the same cleaner(s) to your home. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we prefer to contact you (the client) prior to scheduling a different cleaner for you. We do this so that your regular cleaner(s) can become familiar with your home and cleaning expectations, and so that you can count on having the same familiar face(s) for each service.
  • Do I need to be home?
    Clients do not need to be present for a cleaning. If you have a digital door lock or lock box, please be sure to provide that information before your scheduled appointment. If you do not have a digital lock or lock box, we request that you make access arrangements for our staff to enter your home and provide instructions for securing your home if you won't be on-site during the cleaning.
  • What happens if I (the client) or you (the company) have to reschedule/cancel my cleaning, or there is a cleaning issue?
    Rescheduling: In the event that you have to reschedule your cleaning, please contact us 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We'll work with you to find the next available appointment that suits your needs. If we need to reschedule your appointment, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you promptly to arrange a new cleaning time. Cancellation Policy: We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If we, The Canton Cleaning Company, must cancel your appointment and can't find an alternative replacement date, you will not be charged due to our scheduling. 48-Hour Service Guarantee: We proudly offer a 48-Hour Service Guarantee. If any part of your cleaning is unsatisfactory, please inform us within 48 hours of the service visit. We will promptly send a team back to address those areas within 1-2 business days. Visual evidence may be required on a case-by-case basis.
